Euro 2020 fixtures confirmed: When and where do England play as draw is finalised | Football | Sport

England will play Croatia, Czech Republic and one of Scotland, Israel, Norway or Serbia in the Euro 2020 group stages. England had already secured their spot in Group D before the draw took place in Bucharest on Saturday evening as one of the 12 host cities to qualify for the tournament.

Croatia were the first team drawn into the Three Lions’ pool followed by Czech Republic – two familiar opponents.

England infamously lost in the 2018 World Cup semi-finals to Croatia in extra-time but drew and then defeated the Balkan side in the UEFA Nations League.

Southgate’s side lost to the Czechs during their qualification for Euro 2020 but overturned that result with a thumping 5-0 win at Wembley.

Speaking about the draw, the England manager said: “You’re never sure what a good draw is! Obviously, we’ve played two of the teams before.
