Bradley Walsh net worth: The Chase presenter’s eye watering fortune revealed

Bradley Walsh has become quite the king of family TV, having hosted ITV’s The Chase since 2017. Soap fans will recognise him from Coronation Street, in which he played Danny Baldwin, while sports addicts might remember him from his football days at Brentford or Barnet. So just how much has the 59-year-old made throughout his career, which spans over 40 years? According to Celebrity Net Worth, Bradley Walsh has more than $8 million in the bank, which is equivalent to just over £6 million.

It was recently reported that Bradley had become one of the UK’s highest earning stars.

According to The Sun he’d earned £9.2 million in two years – an average of £4.6 million a year.

He has managed to amass such wealth from his lengthy TV career and acting jobs.

At the age of 18, Bradley became a professional football player for Brentford. During his time here, he also played for Barnet on loan, making five Southern Football League appearances in the 1978–79 season.

His football career was sadly brought to an end in 1982 however, when he suffered an ankle fracture.

Following his football career, Walsh tried his hand at TV. He first became prominent in 1994 after he won a role as one of the presenting team on the National Lottery, which was regularly broadcast on Saturday and Wednesday evenings on BBC One.

A fan favourite, he was quickly snapped up by ITV, who offered him the role as presenter on one of the network’s new game shows, Midas Touch.

In 1997, Walsh was asked to front the British adaptation of the popular US game show Wheel of Fortune.

Bradley’s first acting job was on Channel 4’s Lock, Stock… From there, he went on to star in several other shows, including Night and Day, Torn and a Doctor Who spin-off, The Sarah Jane Adventures.

His most well-loved recurring role was as Danny in Coronation Street. He was a regular on the cobbles from 2004 – 2006.

From 2009-2014, he appeared in Law & Order: UK as recovering alcoholic DS Ronnie Brooks leaving just before ITV decided to rest the show entirely.

Most recently, Bradley has stuck to presenting and is the host of daytime show The Chase on ITV.
